Workers Compensation Surveillance
Individuals may file false or exaggerated claims to fraudulently collect workers compensation benefits.
Workers compensation surveillance provides the proof insurance providers, carriers or third-party administrators need to substantiate suspicions of wrongdoing and pursue legal action, if desired.
Video recording devices are powerful tools used in workers compensation surveillance investigations. When an investigator is able to capture the subject on video performing activities outside of the physical restrictions set by their physician, it may provide evidence which weakens or even cancels the workers compensation claim. RCI International Process Service and Investigations (RCI) has the ability and equipment to capture video, both covertly from a vehicle and in person, with concealed cameras to accomplish these types of assignments.
When we are contracted to investigate a case, we review the details and history of the claim to better understand the subject’s defined physical limitations. We also examine the everyday living patterns of the subject to establish a surveillance strategy.
With these techniques, RCI investigators can collect footage to capture the subject’s true day-to-day physical activities. This footage, coupled with a detailed workers compensation surveillance report summarizing the findings, is prepared for every investigation and provided to the client.
Feel free to contact us today with any questions you may have regarding an upcoming workers compensation assignment and we will be glad to evaluate the parameters in order to strategize the best course of action to obtain the results required on your case.
